Conservatives candidates have been ieturned unopposed for three of the Liverpool seats, Baron de Worms being one of the number. Michael Davitt, Home Ruler, has announced himself a candidate in opposition to the Marquis of Hartington. Mr Gladstone has issued an appeal to the London electors, calling npon them to support aach candidates as are pledged to redress the injustice which Ireland suffers, and thus consolidate a hearty union between that country and Eugland, which will add immortal strength to the British Empiie.
