A virtual rapture has occurred between the Associated Banks of this city over the question of interest on deposits. The steamship Rotomuhana sailed this afternoon for the Bluff. (Received June 23, 12.30 p.m.) June 23. The Banks have raised the rate of interest by one per cent. Sydney, June 23. The Premier has given notice of a motion in the Legislative Assembly for a grant of a aura not exceeding £IO,OOO to Sir John Robertson, for distinguished patriotic services in New South Wales.
