ANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — Ihe Eucalypti Extract proved magnifij cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaluings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published iu Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882), —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily ; also, tongue I wetted three times with the Eucalypti I Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) —Surgical Clinic of Professor MHntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT, (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—Th« American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually conlamination of the blood in foul disease, CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the mil" existing volatile extract, free cf ,n resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinons oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the LtSer bearing our location and signature.
