[Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. Caesar Mitchell and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied to construct a tail-race at the north corner of their extended claim on the Education Reservo, terminating at the Zigzig Creek. Gained, after notice to Messrs Keech and Ma Hoy.

their extended claim at Nardoo Terrace, Education Reserve.—Granted. William Morris and party applied to construct a tail-race about 56 feet below the shaft in No. 2 sludge-chan-nel, Larrikins.—Postponed for a month. Thomas Jamieson and others applied to construct a tail-race at Nardoo Terrace, south bank of Teremakau River, in substitution for another tailrace.—Granted.
William Holly and Michael Hemal, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied to repair and register an abandoned waterrace in Dawson's Creek.—Granted.
Alex. Reid and party applied to construct a tail-race on the Kumara sludgechannel, about 30 feet Dorth of the junction with No. 2 sludge-channel, and terminating at their claim at Larrikins.—The application was objected to by Henry Richards and party; but was granted, on condition that the old tail-race be cancelled, and the channel stopped when the new one begins work. C»sar Mitchell and others, by their agent Mr Haunan, applied for a special site for stacking stones, on the Education Reserve.—Granted.
The same party applied for three -months' protection for their extended claim on the Education Reserve to enable them to construct a tail-race.— Protection granted for three men out of five.
The application of M. J. Harrison, by her agent Mr Hannan, tor a residence area of one acre fronting the Dillman's and Christchurch road, was postponed.
