[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Oopyright. ♦ SCULLING MATCH. BUBEAR V. NELSON. ACCIDENT TO SPOFFORTH, THE CRICKETER. (Received June 3, 1.30 p.m.) London, June 3. The sculling race between Bubear and Nelson, took place to-day. Nelson was defeated by three lengths. Spofforth, the Australian bowler, has met with an accident, having dislocated the third fingpr of his right hand. The doctor suited that the injury would disable him from playing for at least three weeks.
