ANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschvift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports;— Ihe Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m fl animation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). (From American Medical Journal i Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration | of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to bp taken three times daily; also, tongue wotted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application ot the Eucalypti Extract.
