ANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University* Griefswald, Germany, reports t Ihe Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi) cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaluings, bi'oken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, »n Summation of the -bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882), —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration [ of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily \ also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) —Surgical Clinic of Professor MTntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Baner and M'lntyi’e noted the following con* dition No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully ; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gnm Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily.
