INTELLIGENCE. [REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. THE HOME RULE BILL. MEETING OF CHAMBERLAIN’S SUPPORTERS. EXPECTED DEFEAT OF THE GOVERNMENT. EXPULSION OF PRINCES FROM FRANCE. (Received June 1, 1 a.m.) London, May 31. A meeting of the group of Radical members who hold the same views as Mr Chamberlain with regard to the Irish question will be held to-day, in order to decide what course to adopt. It is generally believed they will abstain from voting when the division is taken. Lord Hartington and his followers, it is understood, will record their votes against the Home Rule Bill. (Received June 1, 1.45 p.m.) Latest. Forty-five members of Parliament attended the meeting convened by Mr Chamberlain to day. The Home Rule question was discussed, and finally all those present pledged themselves against the second reading of the bill. The defeat of the Government, and consequently a dissolution, is regarded as certain. (Received June 1, 1 a.m.) Paris, May 31. It is announced that the Government will take measures for the expulsion of Princes from France, instantly the bill authorising them to do so is passed by the Legislature.
