We have subjected a sample of the above-named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are sot forth in a sop;',rate report, show that this spirit is of good strength,practically nee from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid natter in solution. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distil] ed from superior rye p,rain, always used instead of malt in the preduction of the choicest qualities oi Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favorably with other samples offered tor sale.
