The reply of M. Deliyannis to the ultimatum presented to him by the Powers has been received. He states that Greece cannot yield to dictation, but will agree to disarm upon receiving a promise to consider her claims. (Received May 1, noon.) Latest. Tenders were opened to-day for the South Australian loan of £1,330,000 at four per cent.,; minimum fixed at £99. The total amount tendered for was £2,500,000. Tenderers at £lO2 12s 6d will receive 77 per cent. ; above that, in full. (Received May 1, 1.30 a.m.) Rangoon, April 29. Advices from Upper Burrnah state that disastrous fires have occurred at Mandalay, resulting in the burning of a large portion of the town. It is believed the conflagration was the result of incendiary action. (Received April 30, 9.15 p.m.) Rio de Janiero, April 28. The steamship Aorangi, from Wellington April Bth, arrived here to day, all well. Her frozen meat cargo is in good order.
