HANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI 0 EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschriffc 1879), M osier, M.D. Professoral; the Univcrsity, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— 1 lie Eucalypti Extract proved maguifij eently successful in very severe contu sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived Loin it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flammatiou of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c.j London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (ursemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it eflectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous’ dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to bp taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Rnttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case o! Mr Mercer, of Iverang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application ot the Eucalypti Extract.

(Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—TheAmerican medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emul* sion of one ounce gnm Arabic, in 30 o 10 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Jan 1882) —Hazard, M.D. Prof, nf p„th - logy and Diseases of the Mind, .states We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the or>l~ existing volatile extract, tree cf .«u resinous par tides. No bottles genuine except those with labels hearing onr signature and trad, mark, and seemed outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
