The Ear) of Morley, Chief Commissioner of Works, has resigned office. Sir U. Kay Shuttleworth, Undersecretary for India, has been appointed Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, in place of Mr E. Heneage, resigned. The Daily News this morning states that Mr Edward Stafford Howard, M.P. for Tlioriiburv, will assume the vacant portfolio of Under-Secretary fur India ; and Mr W. C. Borlase, M.P. for St. Austell, replaces Mr Jesse Collings as Vice President of the Board of Trade.
