QA.NDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI O EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1579), Mosler, JYI.D. Professor at the University, Griefswaid, Germany, reports:— flie Eucalypti Extract proved magnifij cently successful in very severe contu" sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, vn flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifca, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. (From American Medical Journal Jan., ISS2). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice' of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in lyphonm larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, (fee; ineffectually retards th«-. disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-np of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EU' \ LYPTi EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous' dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to l.p taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for f..ur weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case oi Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of i] lf > Bendigo Hospital to have his r.-ngne removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.
SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight • lays after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties a^ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical-Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT.
