Professor at the University, Griefswaid, Germany, reports:— flie Eucalypti Extract proved magnifij cently successful in very severe contu" sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, vn flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifca, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. Prescribed four drops to l.p taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for f..ur weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case oi Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of i] lf > Bendigo Hospital to have his r.-ngne removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.

SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical-Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily.
