The German man-of-war Albatross has returned here from the islands. During her cruise she inflicted severe punishment on the Natives of New Ireland and New Britain gronps for their murders of Europeans there. The villages were shelled* forty natives were killed, and there were a lar<*e number wounded. ° Scott and Edwards commenced thfeir six days and nights’ walking match this morning.
