SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschviffc 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports;— Hie Eucalypti, Extract proved magnifijj cently successful in very severe contu sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifec., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. BANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, ifcc., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known autisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem ber, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (ursemia) all albuminuria, dropsv, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water tivice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitaer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it eflectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death.
SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Loais Electric Medical Journal, Doc., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous’dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to Ip taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c. f Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application ol the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of P.- o fes.sor M‘lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—TheAmet ican medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emuU sion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually conlamination of the blood in foul disease.
CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, J : ,n 1882). Hazard, M.D, Pnd. of Palheh’gv and Diseases of the Mind, states : We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Oiu pieparation is the oni p volatile extract, free resinous par tides.
