ANDER A SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrifb 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswalcl, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnify Gently successful in very severe contu sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament, SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, .stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia.) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Itucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical ' Jonrnal Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, Ac.; ■it eflectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-np of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 year’s old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to bp taken thiee times daily • also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for' four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof, Ac., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case o! Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.
SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) —Surgical Clinic of Professor M‘lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scinhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and M‘lntyre noted the following con. dition No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to* attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).- The American medical profession uses, in gonotrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (ftt. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882) —Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Palin - logy and Diseases of the Mind, stales ; We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract.
