HANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI . J EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi | cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, searings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flammntion of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, ifec., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published iu Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefartion). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALiTPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medicai College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph thena, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; it effectually retards th« disintegration <>f the animal fluids, which might result m a general breakiug-up of the blood and in death.
SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Lom's Electric Medial Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous' din thesis. Prescribed four drops to If taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Pvnttley, M.D., Prof., etc., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case oi Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of ihe Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue amoved, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lutyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to atteud to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).-Tin-American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood iu foul disease.

(St. Louia Clinical Record, Jan ISB2).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathol and Diseases of the Mind, statps : We have examined half a dozMi specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation was the only on-- which corresponds to scientific tenia. Our preparation is the oi.l~ volatile extract, free cf.,'., resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where* mam-.f'ie-tural, are crude, resinous oils, irritati-.o and blistering, rather causing inflan> mation than staying it, and of mdanger if erron-nisly applied in throat diseases, ifcc.
