(Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1579), Hosier, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports; — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnify cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaluings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also", the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the 3asfc meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as pnWished in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALiTPTJ EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem ber, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (unemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Jan., 188-2).—Pitzer, M.D., Pryfessoi Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhonm larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; it effectually retards th« disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Lonis- Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer ot the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous'dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to U taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., Ac, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case o! Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.

TheAmerican medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT.
