(Received March 31, 1.15 a.m.) Adelaide, March 30. Lyall, manager of the Commercial Bank of South Australia at Yankalilla, the scene of the alleged robbery, has been committed for trial, charged with embezzlement, Melbourne, March 30. The local manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company reports shipping wheat rather firm at 4s 3d to 4s 4d; malting barley, nominally 3s 6d to 4s; New Zealand oats, feed, less depressed, but not much doing, 2s 8d to 3s; milling, steady, without activity of demand, 3s Id to 3s 3d ; under bond, 2s 3d to 2s 6d.
(Received March 31, 1.15 p.m.) Sydney, March 31. E. B. Holt, the absconding Manager of the Bank of New Zealand here, is charged with misappropriating the sum of £I4OO, and the extradition papers necessary for his arrest have been signed by the authorities.
