Sailed, this afternoon, dm steamship, Wairarapa, for the Bluff. The local manager National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, of New Zealand reports on the Grain Market as follows .-—Shipping wheat, quieter, but steady at 4s 3d to 4s 4d. Maltin<» barley, no improvement, 3s 6<l to 4s 3d ; New Zealand oats, feed sorts, steady, t.ut not active, at 2s 9d to 3s; malting ditto, moderate inquiiy, 3s Id to 3d. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 3d to 2s 6d. (Received March 24, 1.20 p.m.) Albany, March 24. Arrived, the Royal Mail steamship Sutlej, with London mails to February 19th. Adelaide, March 24. It is announced that a legal action will be taken against some of the directors of the Commercial Bank of South Australia for presenting to the shareholders a misleading balance-sheet for 1885, which failed to disclose a loss of .£BO,OOO incurred on pastoral properties held by the banks. Mr Crooks, manager of the bank, has been admitted to bail.
