SANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldmgs, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifcc, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac, L-mdor, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALXTTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem ber, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five 'to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; ineffectually retards tli« disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and iu death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Loo is Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous' dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to U taken three times daily 3 also, tow-'ue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ratbhy, M.D., Prof., <fec, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scinbns of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con* dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties a»ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880). The. American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily.
