Deceased has a wife and family in Brisbane, and they are supposed to be fairly well to do. Sir George Grey leaves for Gore in the morning, where he addresses a meeting. He will probably address another meeting in Dunedin before leaving for Christchurch. Auckland, March 16. An influential and representative committee met to-day, presided over by the Mayor to arrange for the presentation of an illuminated address to Sir George Grey on his approaching birthday.
