SANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi; cently successful in veiy severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken rib's, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, sn ttammatiou of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, .fee, are not to le equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALFPTJ EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (urajmia) all iillmminuiia, dropsy, litbia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, J»n., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice ©f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; it effectually retards the. disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous'dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to If taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Euttley, M.D., Prof., <fcc, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had Ijeen advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhns of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties a«ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—Th* American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease.
CAUTiON. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882). —Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho\<><iy and Diseases of the Mind, states : We nave examined half a dozen, specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation, was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Onr preparation is the or>l" existing volatile extract, free cf ..'u resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinons oils, irritating and blistering, rather cansing inflammation than staying it, and of vea-d-uiger if errom.usly applied in throat diseases, ifcc.
