lANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI O EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), \1 osier. M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports : Hie Eucalypti Extract proved magnify cently successful in very severe contudions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flammatioii of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, •fee, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTJ EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated afc the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published iu Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Euealypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novera her, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppressions (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsv, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to ♦nght drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professo, Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma lanal, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph them, scarlet fever, small-pox, (fee; it effectually retards th« disintegraiion of the animal fluids, which might result m a general breaking-up of the bloo-1 and in death. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous' dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to le taken three Limes daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case oi Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUC4LYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con. dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient, allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).- ThtAmerican medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually con' tamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states : We have examined half H dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract, Sander's preparation was the only one whiih corresponds to scientific tests.
