SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), ■Vlosier, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— 1 lie Eucalypti Extract proved tnagnifi* cently successful in very severe contu* sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scald* ings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and >\vellings. Also, the services derived fr an it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m (lamination of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifcc., arc not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillaids Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, •lan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice ®f Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt ia the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph therm, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards tlm disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W .35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to he taken three limes daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract, Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M‘lntyre noted the following, con. dition No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EXTRACT. EUCALYPII (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).-The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Cl-uicit! Record, Jar. 1882). —Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patlulo.oy and Diseases of the Mind, states: n have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Oni pieparation is the ord** existing volatile extract, free cf .m resinous pain rmles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staving it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter hearing our location and signature.
