ANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI 1 EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, iM.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports; — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi; Gently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in Humiliation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, vfec., arc not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, stnall-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration ot the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Prescribed four drops to l,p taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gnm Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood iu foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jau. 1882). —Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states : We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the on?*- existing volatile extract, free cf a»i resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter hearing our location and signature.
