ELECTION NOTICE. LICENSING DISTRICT OF THE BOROUGH OF KUMARA. IN pursuance of “ The Licensing Act, 18B1,” and the “Licensing Act. Amendment, 1882," I George Robert Rudkin, Returning Officer for the above District, do hereby give notice that MONDAY-the 22nd day of February, is the day appointed for the Election of FIYE PERSONS to constitute a LICENSING COMMITTEE for the said district. And Ido hereby give notice that the Town Hall, Knninra, will be the Polling Place for such election, -and that the POLL will be taken between the hours of 9 o’clock a.in. and 6 o’clock p.m. NOMINATIONS will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, Kumara, where printed forms of nomination papers may be had, addressed to the Returning Officer, up to noon of SATURDAY, the 13th day of February, 1886. Every child required hy the said Act to attend a public school sha'l afend such school during AT LEAST I THIRTY DAYS in each quarterly school term, 7. On the h earing of any information or complaint under the said Act for an mder to send children or a child to a public school, or for the recovery of a penalty in respect thereof, the onus shall be on the’ parent or guaulian of such children or child of shewing that such children or child have or has attended, or are or is attending, a public school, in accordance with the requirements of the said Act, or that such children or child are or is exempt from such attendance thereunder.
