In making his financial statement last night the Colonial Treasurer, Mr J. F. Barns, announced that it was the intention of the New South Wales Government to place a new loan in the London market in May or June. Mr Heydon, Minister of Justice, has resigned office, owing to his disapproval of the projected property tax. (Received February 6, 1.45 a.m.) Sydney, February 5. Sailed, this afternoon, the Hauroto, for Now Zealand. New Zealand wheat, 3s 6d per bushel, being rt decline of one penny ; New Zealand oats ;Ire also one penny lower. Adelaide shipping wheat is steady at 4s 2d ; town flour is quoted at £8 10s a ton.
