Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports • The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi. cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scak'ings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, sn flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, <fec, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 18S1).—In diseases of the kidney* either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. (From American Medical Journal, Jnn., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professot Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt ia the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; ineffectually retards tin; disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general hreaking-up of the blood and in death. Prescribed four drops to If taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. 11. Rnttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880). The. American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease.

CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states : We hare examined half a dozen sppcinifiis of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the onJ" cxistint volatile extract, free cf.,',. resinous par tides.
