ST. LEON’S CIRCUS AND MENAGERIE.
St. Leon’s Royal Palace Circus, Hippodrome and Menagerie of Wild Beasts intends visiting Knraara on Tuesday next, 26th lost., opening for one night only. The show is the largest and first of its kind that has ever visited this town. It should (as we have no doubt it will) be well supported. The company is a numerous one, numbering as it does fifty artists actually engaged in the aiena. The stud of o o horses is said to be a most complete feature in itself, there being no less than thirty-one animals attached to the exhibition. Not the least attractive feature in connection with the show will be the menagerie, which contains some remarkably fine specimens of the animal kingdom, including, we understand, two very handsome tigers and a couple of Asiatic bears, two Marsupials, a Tasmanian devil, a red fox, and some of the simian tribe. The company will exhibit at Stafford Town on the Thursday following.
