SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosier, M.D. Professoral the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports; — Ihe Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi cently successful in very severe conlrsions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldiugs, broken ribs, and limbs. Jt effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respira* tory organs, as croup, diphtheria, sn flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Euca* lypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). (From American Medical Journal,Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt in the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three limes daily; also, tongue wetted throe times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case ol Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.

(From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) Surgical Clinic of Professor M‘ln tyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extractemployed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M‘lntyre noted the following condition ; No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonouhcea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gnra Arabic, in 30 o 40 ounces of water, applied four rimes daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease, CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathob.ay and Diseases of the Mind, states : We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one width corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the onl~ cxistiuc volatile extract, free cf .<•> resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where nianufa.'tured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of rerdanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those wid, labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
