ANDER, & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschriffc 1879), Mosier, M.D. Professor at the UniverGriefswald, Germany, reports: — I lie Eucalypti Extract proved tnagnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, -wounds, scaluings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived fi "m it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m llammatiou ot the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, t&c., arc not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novetn her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidneys either active congestion or suppression (nrseraia) all albuminuria, dropsy, litbia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt ia the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph them, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer ot the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to l.f taken three times daily • also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Rnttley, M.D., Prof., Ac., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) Surgical Clinic of professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhns of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following con dition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, iu gonorrhoea, as au injection, an emulsion of one ounce gnm Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually con. taraination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states : We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation was the only one wlnVh corres|.ond.s to scientific tests. Our preparation is the otib* c volatile extract, free resinous par tides. All other preparations of tie Eucalyptus, no matter where mamifa '. tnred, are crude, resinous oils, irritafi* o and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readier if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those wi»l, labels hearing one signature and had. mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band,' the latter I bearing our location and signature.
