HANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI O EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports;— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe cont;sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scale'ings, broken ribs, and limbs. . It effectually stays all iuflammalion and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flanimation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, •fee, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, Londor, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known autiseptic (means of preventing putrefaefiou). (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph fcheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor MTntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhns of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Ei«ht days after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discoloration, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the pilient allowed to attend to her household duties a«ain. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).-Tlit American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily.
