The West Coast Times reports that Miss Holmes had a very short illness, and at first it was thought the disease was not worthy of apprehension: typhoid, however, soon made its appearance, and she died unconscious, having been in that state for some little time. The friends of Mr and Mrs Holmes will hear of their loss with sorrow, and her companions will miss her bright sunny face. The funeral takes place to-morrow afternoon.
