The School Inspector's returns of the Kumara State School examination were received, and were handed to the Editor of the local paper for publication. An abstract will be found below. A resolution was passed that the thanks of the Committee be accorded to Mr Woodward and the staff of teachers of the Kumara State School for the very satisfactory efficiency of the scholars, as shown by the returns, notwithstanding the disadvantages they have had to contend with during the year.
