On the motion of Sir John Robertson, the Legislative Assembly has adjourned until the 9th inst, in order to prevent Government from proceeding with the business. (Received December 7, 1 a.m.) Melbourne, December 6. The death is announced of Mr J. B. Weie, C.M.G. -Adelaide, December 5. The Government has abandoned the idea of passing the Federal Council Bill this session, and the colony will consequently not be represented in Hobarton next month.
