(Received December 1, 10.30 p.m.) Sydney, December 1. Sailed, this afternoon, the steamship Wakatipu, for Wellington ; and the Pacific Mail steamship Australia, for San Francisco, via Auckland. The latter vessel takes specie from this port valued at £227,000. The official reception of Lord Carriugton, Governor elect, takes place on Saturday week, December 12th. (Received December 2, 1.30 a.m.) Albany, December 1. The P. and O. Company's steamship Carthage arrived this afternoon, with London mails to October 30. Sailed, this afternoon, the steamship Waihora, for the Bluff.
