AUSTRALIAN FROZEN MEAT EXPORT COMPANY. (Received December 1, 1 a m.) Melbourne, November 30. The second trial of Mr Joseph Symes, editor of the " Liberator," which was rendered necessary by the non-agreement of the jury at the first trial, took place to-day. The defendant was charged with taking money at the doors of his lecture-room on Sunday evenings. The jury were unable to agree, and accordingly again discharged. (Received December 1, 12.15 p.m.) Sydney, December 1. Captain Everill and the members of the Geographical Expedition are expected to arrive at Sydney on Thursday next. They deny the truth of the rumours current that large numbers of natives were killed. He states that although they had several skirmishes, they only fired for self-preservation. Melbourne, December 1. At a meeting of the Australian Frozen Meat Export Company held yesterday, it was decided to wind up the-company.
