KUMARA RIFLE VOLUNTEERS. COMPANY ORDER. A SPECIAL PARADE of the KTJMARA. RIFLKS will be held at the Adelphi Hall on FRIDAY, 18th September, at Eight o'clock. Every member is requested to attend, with all Government property in his possession. Business of importance. By order, J. DAVIES, Captain. Kumara, September 17, 1885. A GRAND BAZAAR in aid of the CATHOLIC CHURCH FUNDS will be held in Kumara during the coming CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. Particulars will bo advertised soon. TENDERS for CUTTING a DRAIN, laying down GRAVEL, &c, at the State School, will be received on or before FRIDAY, the 18th inst. Apply to A. C.'CAMPBELL, Hon. Sec. COBB AND CO.'S TELEGRAPH LINE OF ROYAL MAIL COACHES LEAVE THE EMPIRE HOTEL, HOKITIKA, FOR CHRISTCHURCH, EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY At 6 o'clock a.m. The Coaches leave Kumara at 9 a.m., on the above clays, returning to Hokitika every Wednesday and Saturday, at about 3 p.m. Passengers from Kumara can be booked and obtain full particulars as to rates, &c, from Mr Robert Gillon, at the Booking Office, Queen's Arms Hotel, Kumara.
