SANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschriffc 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor afc the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports :-- The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, ' raflanimation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, .fee., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the CJinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem her, 1881).—In diseases of. the kidney* either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, litbia sis, nothing will equal in its action. Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five r to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, <fcc. ; it effectually retards the disintegration «f the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W ~ 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to bf taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The" American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four timeß daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually con. tamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho? lnjiy and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen speci mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation was the only one- which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the onl" cxistino volatile extract, free cf an resinous pa£ tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufnetured, are crude, resinons oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throa diseases, ifcc. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, a:id secured outside with pink wrapper and given band, the latter bearing our louati.m and signature.
