SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Dcutsoli 6 Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldmgs, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gail* lard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALSTPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novemher, 1881). —In diseases of the kidneyeither active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, litbia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhonmlarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph them, scarlet fever, srnall-pox, &c. ; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer ot the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous’dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to l.p taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for f.-ur weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Fmmll'eClim o .! Ei<dit days after operation Professors Bauer and M Intyre noted the. following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolors tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The Araeiican medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually con. tamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI . EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record’ Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of PathoS logy and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen speci mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the onV existing volatile extract, free of ua resinous par< tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufncbared, are crude, resinous oils, irritating blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat diseases, ifec. • No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our locution and signature.
