lANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI U EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschriffc 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the TJniver. sity, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scalding*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectuully stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived ft- >m it in all disorders of the respira-. tory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, t&c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem;' ber, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney* either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, litbia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph, therm, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards th« disintegration of the animal fluids, which might resultin a general breaking-up of the Wood and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Lonis Electric Medical Journal, Dec, 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to bf taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrh us of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880). The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually con> tamination of the blood in foul disease, CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Patho? logy and Diseases of the Mind, states: VVe have examined half a dozen speci mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sa'idei's preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the existing volatile extract, free cf .».* resinous pa* tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no mutter where manufnctured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflammation than staying it, and of readinger if erronuusly applied in throat diseases, &c.
