WARDEN'S COURT.

Friday, May 1. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. The applications of Mr D. Hannan, Legal Manager Long Tunnel Company' to divert the right and left-hand biwuches of Dawson's Creek, objected to by Mr Seddon on behalf of Cullen and party and James Holmes, and postponed frequently, were at last refused.

Thomas Lamson and Frederick Sraitb, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for a double-area claim at Uillman's Town. Applicants had bought a tunnel 600 ft. or 700 ft. long to work the ground.— Granted.

Robert Anderson applied to construct a tail-race on the south bank of the Teremakau. The application was opposed by Mr D. Hannan on behalf of Messrs Keech and Mailoy.—Granted, subject to the condition that it is not to affect the objectors' interest. Robert Reid, by his agent Mr Hannan, applied for a residence area at Larrikins.—Granted, on the usual conditions.

Peter Grant and party applied, by their agent Mr Hannan, for au extended claim at Larrikins. The old ground had been worked out by lifting the stuff to the surface by a tank. They proposed now to work the claim liy means of No. 2 sludge-channel.— Granted.
