WARDEN’S COURT.
Friday, April 17. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] The application of Mr D, Hannan, legal manager of the Long Tunnel Gold Mining Company, for a branch race to cross over Cullen and party’s amalgamated race, being objected to by them, was withdrawn. By the same to divert the course of the right and left-hand branches of Dawson’s Creek, objected to Mr Seddon on behalf of James Holmes and Cullen and party, were again postponed. James Holmes, by his agent Mr Seddon, applied for a protection certificate for six months for head-water right at Houlahan’s Flat.—Granted. Antonio Deviscovi, by his agent Mr Hannan, applied for a residence area at Dillman’s Town.—Granted. James Kelly and party applied, by their agent Mr Hannan, for protection for their extended claim at Larrikins, to enable them to work the claim with five instead of six men.—Granted. An application by Mr Hannan for 14 days’ protection of tunnel 7012, on behalf of Thomas O’Neill, Dunedin Flat, was withdrawn, Peter Grant, for self and party, applied for 14 days’ protection for doublearea claim at Larrikins.—Granted.
