The proclamation in regard to the navigation of the harbor has been modified. The West Channel now can be open, and captains in possession of the necessary certificates will be permitted to bring up their vessels. April 2. Sailed, the Tarawera, for the Bluff, on Tuesday morning. + COLONIAL QUARTERLY RETURNS. (Received April 1, 1.25 p.m.) Melbourne, April 1, The quarterly revenue returns show the revenue for the past three months to be £1,680,000, being an increase over the corresponding quarter of 1884 of £40,000. (Received April 2, 1 a.ra.) Sydney, April 1. The revenue returns for the quarter ended March 31st show the receipts to be £1,640,000, an increase over the corresponding quarter of 1884 of £142,000. The principal increases are in revenue from Lands and Customs.
