[to the editor.] Sir— ln justice to the Rev. Mr Hay we beg to state that we were eye-wit-nesses to the meeting of session held in Stafford on Sunday, the 22nd March, at which both Mr William Coutts and Mr John Pi me were present. We also heard the resolution closing Stafford Church read to the congregation af the close of Church services. Mr John Pi me, being present, took no exception to its correctness. A. C. Campbell. W.
