[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, VICTORIA RACING CLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING. (Received March 5, 8 p.m.) Melbourne, March 25. The second day's races of the Victorian Racing Club's Autumn Meeting were held to-day at Fiemington. The weather was fine and there was a fair attendance of spectators. The Governor was not present to-day. The Australian Cup.—Two miles and a quarter. Riugwood 1 Sheet Anchor 2 Stornoway ... ... 3 Coronet (winner of the Newmarket handicap on Saturday last) was nowhere. It was a splendid race. Time, 4mins. l^secs. Betting at the post was even on Coronet who led from the start, and was a dozen lengths ahead at the river, but was however beaten at the sheds, and collapsed at the home turn, where Ringwood came up with a rush, and won by three-quarters of a length from Sheet Anchor, after a most exciting race.

Malua has been scratched for all events this meeting.
