SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879) Mosler, M.D. Professor at the Univer. Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnifi cently successful in very severe contu sions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldmgs, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services .derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, - bronchitis, colds, <kc., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Prcfessor, &c,, London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney either active congestion or suppression (urseraia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT.
(From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professo Theory and Practice of Medicine American Medical College, says—lt 1 the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. it etiectually retards the disintegratiov of the animal fluids, which might resul in a general breaking-up of the blooc and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medica Journal, Dec., 1881).—Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W . 3£ years old. Evidence of scrofulous’dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken tbiee times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., & c ., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case o' Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been act vised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYP 1 ] EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 nr 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardlv once daily, prevents’effectually (;m ,’ tamination of the blood in fm,! disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record. J an 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states; We have examined half a dozen speci' mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. • Onr .preparation is the onl- existin'--volatile extract, free of resinous par tides. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritation blistering, rather cansing inflame mation than staying it, and of readier if erronnusly applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels de;,riug our signature and trad, mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
