[REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. VISIT OF THE PRINCE OF WALES TO FRANCE. EXAMINATION OF THE SUSPECTED DYNAMITIST. O’DONOYAN ROSSA SHOT AT BY AN ENGLISHWOMAN. (Received February 3, 5.15 p.m.) London, February 2, The Prince of Wales has gone on a visit to Cannes in the South of France. Gilbert, the Irish American who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the dynamite outrage at the Tower on the 24th ultimo, was to-day reexamined at the Bow-street Police Court. The evidence adduced showed that the prisoner had been in the habit of frequenting the Tower, and that he bad in his possession a loaded detonating [machine]. The inquiry has been further adjourned. (Received February 4, 1 a.m.) New York, February 3.
O’Uonovan Rossa was to-day shot at and wounded in a street of this city by an Englishwoman. The latter was at once arrested and detained in custody.
