ELECTION NOTICE. LICENSING DISTRICT OF THE BOROUGH OF KUMARA. IN pursuance of “The Licensing Act, 1881,” and the “Licensing Act Amendment, 1882,” I George Robert Rudkin, Returning Officer for the above District, do hereby give notice that FRIDAY, the 20th day of February, is the day appointed for the Election of Five PERSONS to constitute a LICENSING COMMITTEE for the said district. And Ido hereby give notice that the Town Hall, Knmara, will be the Polling Place for such election, au'd that the POLL will be taken between the hours of 9 o’clock a.m. and 6 o’clock p.m. NOMINATIONS will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, Kumara, where printed forms of nomination papers may be had, addressed to the Returning Officer, up to noon of WEDNESDAY", the 11th day of February, 1885. TAKE NOTICE, the VALUATION LIST for the BOROUGH OF KUMARA, for the year 1885, is now OPEN FOR INSPECTION during office hours, at the Town Clerk’s Office. All OBJECTIONS thereto must be lodged at the Court House, Kumara, before the 15th day of FEBRUARY, addressed to the Assessment Court, and a Copy of every such Objection must be left at the Town Clerk’s Office, Kumara, not less than seven days before the Sittings of the said Court.
